Classes + Workshops
Join Lizzy for a six-week art club for teens who want a place to make things, try stuff out, and hang with other creative people.
We’ll spend time in the studio working in 2D and 3D, with clay, textiles, paper, found objects, and whatever else is around. Make a tiny sculpture. Thrift-flip some clothes. Try making your own weird paper. Combine materials that don’t usually go together. Start something, change your mind, and take it in a completely different direction.
There’s no set project and no expectation that everything has to turn out “good.” You can learn a new technique, work on your own idea, or just explore the studio and see what catches your attention.
Mostly, it’s a place to make things with other people—share ideas, trade materials, help each other out, and see what everyone else is making.
Come curious. Come make a mess. Come enjoy The Center.

Texture to Print: Family Edition | Collagraph Workshop
A collagraph is a printmaking technique where artists build a textured printing plate by gluing a variety of materials onto a rigid surface. That textured plate is then inked and run through a press, in this case, the steamroller! The result is a richly layered, one-of-a-kind print.
Create together! Families will work side by side to design a bold 2’ × 3’ collagraph plate using layered textures, found materials, and imaginative mark-making. Your finished plate will become part of our Ink for Impact Steamroller Print Event, where it will be inked and printed by an actual steamroller into a spectacular oversized print.
All ages welcome (children should attend with an adult).
$100 per family (4 people max)
Registration includes workshop materials and one steamroller print pull. You will help with the process on the event day!

In these workshops, you’ll create your own 2’ × 3’ collagraph plate using cardboard and a variety of textured materials. Then, at our Ink for Impact Steamroller Print Event, your plate will be hand-inked and printed using a steamroller as the press, resulting in a bold, large-scale artwork unlike anything you can make in a traditional print studio.
Perfect for beginners, creatives looking to experiment, and experienced artists alike.
