Bright Days + Big Imaginations: Summer @ The Center is where creativity, curiosity, and community come together. Designed for young artists, makers, and imaginative thinkers, our hands-on programs spark joy, build skills, and invite exploration in a welcoming, inclusive environment. We elevate voice, expression, and connection through meaningful making. Our Wild Wonder series seamlessly blends nature and art, culture and community, while our older youth programs in fashion and digital design engage, challenge, and empower creative thinkers. Whether your child is painting, sculpting, sewing, coding, or storytelling, every day at The Center is filled with discovery, play, and purpose.

This unique summer program empowers youth to find their voice through the art of fashion design and textile creation. Participants will dive into the entire creative process, learning essential sewing skills while exploring how creativity intersects with humanity and personal empowerment.
Program Highlights & Learning Outcomes:
Sewing Machine: Learn the fundamentals of operating a sewing machine safely and confidently.
Pattern Power: Understand how to read and utilize simple patterns as a blueprint for bringing unique visions to life.
Creative Design & Self-Expression: Develop a personal style and design unique projects—from tote bags to apparel—cultivating self-love and confidence in personal expression.
Collaborative Creation: Work together in a supportive community environment, sharing ideas, helping peers, and fostering a sense of belonging.

The Wild Wonder Series is a vibrant, hands-on art program for young creatives who love to explore imagination, nature, culture, and community. Each week offers a new theme filled with S.T.E.A.M. projects, storytelling, dramatic play, and time outdoors.

Ages 9-14 (Entering grades 4-8) | $380/week | Limit: 6
Level up your creativity in this game development workshop! Students will explore the fundamentals of game development — coding, storytelling, character design, and visual art. Whether crafting characters, designing worlds, or bringing challenges to life in a digital platform, young game makers will develop problem-solving skills and artistic techniques in a fun, hands-on environment.
Hands-on activities, movement and outdoor breaks incorporated.
