FALL 26 Session
At The Center young artists are free to experiment across media and embrace art making a both an experiment of technique and and exploration of self and community. We provide a welcoming and vibrant space where kids and teens can connect, collaborate, and develop their creative voice. Our teachers have a rich and diverse wealth of experience in progressive art education, bringing fresh ideas for creation and a passion for meaningful human connection to every class.
Pop Art should make you smile! This playful art class with Cat is all about BIG ideas, bold colors, graphic shapes, graphic style and a little bit of humor.
Artists ages 6–12 will explore the world of Pop Art through sculpting, building, drawing, and designing. We’ll create fun pieces inspired by the playful visual language of comics, cartoons, advertisements, and everyday objects. Think expressive faces, speech bubbles, bold outlines, unexpected combinations, and art that practically jumps off the page!
From sculptural creations to graphic artworks, students will experiment with materials and techniques. Come ready to build, make, giggle, and turn ordinary ideas into extraordinary art.

Ages 6-12 | Mondays 4:00-5:30 | Oct 5 - Nov 16 (no class October 12)

In this hands-on clay class with Daniela, students , will explore different techniques while creating both useful items like bowls and cups and sculptural fun projects that let imaginations run wild. From shaping and sculpting to decorating and finishing, every week brings something new. Get dirty, get creative, and leave with clay treasures that last! By the session’s end, we’ll have a spin on the potter’s wheels.

Fashion Fusion
Express yourself through unique pieces made by you! Learn the basics of using a sewing machine, reading and following a pattern, and transforming existing garments into something completely your own. Explore fashion design through upcycling, customization, and creative experimentation while building practical sewing skills along the way. No previous sewing experience necessary—just bring your ideas and your personal style!
ages 11-15 | Tuesdays 4-5:30 | Oct 6-Nov 17 (6 weeks- no class Nov 3)
Join Lizzy for a six-week art club for teens who want a place to make things, try stuff out, and hang with other creative people.
We’ll spend time in the studio working in 2D and 3D, with clay, textiles, paper, found objects, and whatever else is around. Make a tiny sculpture. Thrift-flip some clothes. Try making your own weird paper. Combine materials that don’t usually go together. Start something, change your mind, and take it in a completely different direction.
There’s no set project and no expectation that everything has to turn out “good.” You can learn a new technique, work on your own idea, or just explore the studio and see what catches your attention.
Mostly, it’s a place to make things with other people—share ideas, trade materials, help each other out, and see what everyone else is making.

Welcome to Sew Cool, where imagination meets the thread! In this playful, hands-on class, young makers will learn the basics of hand and machine sewing while creating wearable art, sock creatures, and other one-of-a-kind textile treasures.
Each week, we’ll explore fabric, pattern, and design in a supportive, creative space that encourages self-expression and problem-solving. Kids will build real skills—like threading, stitching, and simple pattern reading—while developing patience, confidence, and their own artistic style.
No experience needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a love for making cool stuff out of fabric!

Unleash your imagination as we transform ordinary cardboard into extraordinary creations! Using innovative tools and techniques, students will cut, glue, and assemble masks, companions, and creatures. Get ready to think big, build bold, and bring your wildest ideas to life!

A perfect mix of grown-up + child creative play! Each week begins with a teacher-led activity and flows into a hands-on project designed for little + big makers. Clay, paint, mixed-media and more! Come ready to explore, imagine, and create side by side OR with your grown-up!
