This beginner friendly class offers students an overview of handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling and slab building through the creation of functional tableware. Through self directed projects students will become familiar with making attachments, surface decoration, finishing and glazing. A great introduction to ceramics before moving on to wheelthrowing.

End the session for some original finished pieces for your table!

Whether you're quilt-curious or a seasoned sewist looking to carve out time for a project, this course will guide you through quilt creation from start to finish in six weeks.

Each class includes dedicated open sewing time in a supportive, welcoming studio where you'll receive individualized guidance and encouragement as you bring your quilt to life.

Whether you love crisp, traditional patterns or are drawn to playful, intuitive improvisation, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with color, pattern and composition.

No sewing experience is necessary—all levels are welcome. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring fabric you’re excited to work with!

Designed as a creative studio escape, each project offers the chance to learn a new technique, follow your curiosity, and develop your own visual style.

Make time to play, experiment, and create something beautiful. This hands-on mixed media class will explore the art of layering, transforming, and reimagining existing material into something new. Across a playful collection of projects—from fabric collage to cyanotypes, printmaking, and more—we’ll explore color, pattern, texture, composition, and the magic of happy accidents.

No prior art experience necessary. Please bring a mixed media sketchbook, any size is fine. We’ll send you a link to one if you need it!

At Center, we believe learning pottery should feel playful, welcoming, and full of joy. In this  6-week adult class you’ll get thoughtful instruction and plenty of room to experiment, get messy, try something new or weird, and find your own style.

Over six weeks, Daniela will introduce you to both handbuilding and the pottery wheel, building foundational skills through a mix of instruction, practice, and plenty of hands-on time. Whether you’re brand new to clay or ready to build confidence, come ready to learn, play, and make finished, glazed pieces.

Welcome to Sew Cool, where imagination meets the thread! In this playful, hands-on class, young makers will learn the basics of hand and machine sewing while creating wearable art, sock creatures, and other one-of-a-kind textile treasures.

Each week, we’ll explore fabric, pattern, and design in a supportive, creative space that encourages self-expression and problem-solving. Kids will build real skills—like threading, stitching, and simple pattern reading—while developing patience, confidence, and their own artistic style.

No experience needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a love for making cool stuff out of fabric!

In this hands-on clay class with Daniela, students , will explore different techniques while creating both useful items like bowls and cups and sculptural fun projects that let imaginations run wild. Fashion Fusion

Express yourself through unique pieces made by you! Learn the basics of using a sewing machine, reading and following a pattern, and transforming existing garments into something completely your own. Explore fashion design through upcycling, customization, and creative experimentation while building practical sewing skills along the way. No previous sewing experience necessary—just bring your ideas and your personal style!

Pop Art should make you smile! This playful art class with Cat is all about BIG ideas, bold colors, graphic shapes, graphic style and a little bit of humor. 

Artists ages 6–12 will explore the world of Pop Art through sculpting, building, drawing, and designing. We’ll create fun pieces inspired by the playful visual language of comics, cartoons, advertisements, and everyday objects. Think expressive faces, speech bubbles, bold outlines, unexpected combinations, and art that practically jumps off the page!

From sculptural creations to graphic artworks, students will experiment with materials and techniques. Come ready to build, make, giggle, and turn ordinary ideas into extraordinary art.

Join Lizzy for a six-week art club for teens who want a place to make things, try stuff out, and hang with other creative people.

We’ll spend time in the studio working in 2D and 3D, with clay, textiles, paper, found objects, and whatever else is around. Make a tiny sculpture. Thrift-flip some clothes. Try making your own weird paper. Combine materials that don’t usually go together. Start something, change your mind, and take it in a completely different direction.

There’s no set project and no expectation that everything has to turn out “good.” You can learn a new technique, work on your own idea, or just explore the studio and see what catches your attention.

Mostly, it’s a place to make things with other people—share ideas, trade materials, help each other out, and see what everyone else is making.

Come curious. Come make a mess. Come enjoy The Center.
