Join us for the first installment of The Center’s INK + UNWIND printmaking series as we dive into the magic of gelli printing.
In this hands-on evening workshop, we’ll explore monoprinting, layering, texture play, and image transfer using ink and gelli plates. Expect bold color, surprising results, and the satisfying reveal that makes this process so addictive. Each pull is one-of-a-kind — perfectly imperfect and uniquely yours.

Sew Totes
Sewing, creativity, functionality and community join forces as we transform vintage and repurposed fabrics into epic, everything totes! Led by Becky O’Toole of Becky’s Reloved, this hands-on workshop guides you through creating a sturdy, one-of-a-kind bag from start to finish.
You’ll explore the balance of form and function while learning practical sewing skills along the way-cutting, piecing, sewing, and constructing a tote built to carry it all. Becky will share her love of reclaimed materials and thoughtful design as you bring your own unique bag to life.
Basic hand and machine sewing skills are helpful, but if you are a determined newbie, we have space for your spirit! Come ready to learn, experiment, and sew alongside a vibrant community of makers.

This joyful, body-positive workshop invites you to build your very own “vag vessel” while learning hand-building and attachment techniques in a supportive, laughter-welcome space.

Come dressed in monochrome, in a color that brings you joy, reflects your vibe, or connects to a social or environmental justice theme inspired by the Building a Better World Wave Mural. This is a night rooted in expression, meaning, and collective energy.
Expect color, creativity, connection, and a celebration that’s as fun as it is purposeful. Your support fuels The Center’s mission and helps this living, breathing organization continue to grow.

Block Party
This skills-based workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of quilt making while building connection and creativity within a supportive community. You’ll learn how to use a rotary cutter, quilting ruler, and cutting mat; set up and confidently use a sewing machine; piece and press quilt blocks; and create a quilt sandwich for machine or hand quilting. Along the way, we’ll share ideas, trade tips, and enjoy the simple joy of making something beautiful together. Whether you’re quilt curious or a seasoned sewist, you’ll walk away inspired and connected to the artistic community.
